Guided Tour of the Jewish Cemetery in Nørrebro – 8 July 2026

Tilmeldingsfrist overskredet

The Jewish Community in Denmark offers free guided tours of the historic Jewish cemetery in Møllegade in Nørrebro.

Here you can hear the story of how the cemetery was established in 1693, at a time when the site lay far outside the city walls of Copenhagen. You will also hear how Danish Jews have helped shape Danish society for more than 400 years.

Sign up for a guided tour on 8 July at 1:00 p.m. by selecting “Tilmeld”. (The registration is in Danish)

Your registration is confirmed once you receive an email from the Jewish Community in Denmark.

We ask male participants to wear a head covering, such as a hat or cap, in keeping with the tradition at Jewish cemeteries. It is also possible to borrow a kippah on site.

If you have any questions about the guided tour, please contact Carsten at cfm@djs.dk.

We look forward to sharing the many stories of Danish-Jewish history, with this magical oasis in Nørrebro as our starting point.
